In the last three or four days, many of our friends and acquaintances have asked me and Mike our advice on whom we recommend among the judicial candidates in today's election. They asked us probably because we are lawyers, and I realize that many of you might also be interested in the same advice.
I have known Denise Ferrero for 17 years and give her my highest recommendation for County Judge. I met her in law school, where she showed great leadership as president of the law school student organization, the John Marshall Bar Association. Since then, she served Gainesville as an assistant state attorney, private attorney, and court hearing officer. Over 17 years, I have personally witnessed her excellent character, intelligence, and willingness to work hard and to serve. Those traits, coupled with her experience, allow me to recommend her to all of you without reservation.
